[2007]looking for room for rent

Hello,

I just read Song Gao's ad to rent his room from chinalist, but
unfortunately when I called immediately I was told it has already been
booked. Thanks all the same.

But I am really driven mad these days looking for a renting. I am a
newcomer and I know nobody in Corvallis. I will bring my wife with me
but I haven't found a place to stay for her. I am feeling so bad.

I check the ads on beaverrent and craigslist several times a day but
the places are either expensive or too far away from OSU. Most
important, I am still in China and won't arrive until Sep 10, so I
cannot check the rooms myself and they won't wait for me so long.
Thus, if anybody has some place to lease or sublet in the next few
days, I will not hesitate to take it. I will appreciate it very very
much if anybody can provide me any kind of help in renting.
