The Corvallis Outdoor School program is on the hunt for some volunteer
fall Interns to help us out with our program. ODS (Outdoor School) is a
4 day 3 night residential science based camp that the entire 6th grade
from the Corvallis 509J School district participates in. We hold ODS at
Camp Tadmor which is up above Lebanon. This year we will hold ODS two
different weeks to accommodate all of the 6th grade class. The first
week is Sept. 24-28, the second week Oct. 8-12. ODS recruits and trains
local high school Jr.'s and Sr.'s to be counselors to the students. All
of the counselors and Interns will be up at camp a day before the 6th
graders arrive for a day of training and camp set-up.



Please see the attached flyer for some the duties interns will be
required to do. You will be eligible for up to three credits for being
an ODS Intern. These credits will be AIL Elective credits. For more
information on this please contact Urmila Mali in the educational
opportunities Program. Her number is 541/737-3929
