Hi, everyone –

This is just a reminder that the Shanghai String Quartet plays at
LaSells Stewart Center tomorrow evening, November 14, at 7:30 PM. OSU
students are admitted free with their student ID cards; spouses of
students pay only $5. Children are admitted free. (The LaSells Stewart
Center is located across the street from the Reser football stadium on
campus.)

The Shanghai String Quartet is one of the very best in the world today.
They will be playing some Chinese music as well as European classics.
After coming to Corvallis, they will be playing two concerts in
Portland, then go back home to Shanghai. This is a good opportunity to
hear some wonderful music:

*Beethoven* String Quartet in E-flat major, Op. 74 ("Harp")
*Yi-Weng Jiang* Selections from /Chinasong/
*Grieg* String Quartet in G-minor, Op. 27
